Awards Additional
£500,000.00
for new Arts Guild
Waterfront Building !
Inverclyde Council has approved additional funding support of £0.5m for the theatre's new home to be built on the waterfront, bringing their contribution to £2.5m.
Details of the plan and the architect's visualisations can be seen on our Redevelopment page, as well as details of how you can assist in helping us raise the necessary funds to complete the project.
The ambitious plans drawn up to redevelop the building are at an advanced stage, with costs in the region of £9m.
- The Scottish Arts Council/National Lottery have promised £2.7m towards the cost.
- Inverclyde Council and Riverside Inverclyde are committed to supporting the project, with each making a significant contribution.
- We must raise the balance
- We are looking to the Guild's supporters and to those who attend performances to give generously to secure the future of this long established and much loved venue.
