If I Was A Mouse
I Would Hide
In Your Hood
The acrobatic tail of an ordinary mouse dangles deliciously before us...
Snuggle in, cozy up; this is an enchanting tale of imagination, friendship and discovery.
Mouse wants to; play games, ask questions, fly to the moon and go to the party. But she's shy.
Mouse likes hide and seek best of all (mostly hiding) but there's no-one to find her… until a new family move in.
If I was a Mouse…' is an intimate adventure told by two performer-puppeteers; it's made of tricks and tales, puppets and people, music, mice and friends.
Mouse’s world is brought to life with more than a whisker of fairy tale magic.
With music by international children's composer Paul Rissmann and a beautiful accompanying e-book illustrated by Helen Nunn.
If I was a Mouse...’ is suitable for everyone aged 3-6 (and over)! |

EXTRA DATE ARRANGED
(in response to public demand)

A humorous and insightful look at the bigotry that exists
between Glasgow`s famous football giants Celtic and Rangers.
"One of the shortest and most gripping two-hour shows in current Scottish theatre, far more vividly connected to the real life of Scotland than most of the work I review"
Joyce McMillan, The Heraldld
"One look at the audience crowding into the theatre tells you Singin' I'm No a Billy He's a Tim is reaching the parts that other theatre can't reach"
Mark Fisher, The Guardian
"Goes down a storm with fans on both sides of the Old firm divide"
Billy Sloan, Sunday Mail
"75% of the audience have never been to a theatre before. Looking round a packed hall and listening to their reaction, I could believe it. They were here to support their respective team."
Robert Dawson Scott, The Times

Singin'
I'm No A Billy
He's A Tim
Singin' I'm No a Billy He's a Tim is a humorous and often poignant snapshot of the pervasive sectarian divide which still exists in the west of Scotland.
What could be worse for a Celtic fan than being locked up in a police cell on the day of an Old Firm match?
For Tim, there is one thing worse – finding himself banged up with Billy, a fervent Rangers supporter.
Des Dillon`s entertaining comedy highlights the nature of bigotry and sectarianism within the West of Scotland. The play also takes our two protagonists on a journey of self discovery
Hail Hail,
We are the People!!

The
Unplugged
Smile
Tour
Finbar Furey
Finbar Furey comes from a unique pedigree - an all Ireland Uillean Pipe Champion and whistle player, singer/songwriter as well as playing 5-string banjo, and guitar. In 1972 John Peel gave Finbar, and his brother Eddie, their big break by voting them act of the year. Their music was phenomenal because it was a new sound - Irish (Uillean) Pipes with Guitar and voice, which up till then had not been done.)
Subsequently of course the format was used everywhere from Planxty to RiverDance, Braveheart to Hailey Westenra. It was
modern music, with an ancient root. The music came from the Irish Gypsy community and when it met the psychedelic era, a new
sound was born.
Finbar has been round the block many times with Eddie, recording for Transatlantic records in the 60's and achieving fame as lead singer & frontman of The Furey Brothers and Davey Arthur.
Now he works solo, while balancing his folk roots with songs such as Now
and Forever, to his voice in such as 'New York Girls' which was his
handlebar moustache swinging contribution to Martin Scorsese's Gangs
of New York ......
He has toured extensively, bringing his rare talents to a world-wide stage and treating audiences to evenings of pure Irish magic, great music, good humour, and the charm and sparkling wit associated with one of Ireland's great raconteurs.

Laurel
and
Hardy
By
Tom McGrath
Two instantly recognisable characters: Stan's crying face and his explosive hair...Ollie's long-suffering camera look and his tie-twiddle ...and, of course, the iconic bowler hats. Emerging from vaudeville, music hall and early silent comedies, Laurel and Hardy formed an enduring partnership, crafting their films with love and attention - and clearly having fun. Audiences shared that fun and that love, and continue to do so even now, 75 years after their heyday.
Laurel & Hardy lifts the bowler hats of two charming and witty men to take a look at their lives and loves and offers a fascinating insight into their off-screen relationship and personal heartaches. With some of their finest comedy routines, musical numbers, dance and slapstick, the charm and wit of Stan and Ollie are reborn in this warm and affectionate look at the most successful and prolific comedy team in screen history.
Tom McGrath, one of Scotland's foremost playwrights, died in 2009. This production is a tribute to Tom and a celebration of life, love and friendship.

The Singing Kettle
present
Calamity Castle
“Och aye the noo !” Scotland’s favourite children’s entertainers
THE SINGING KETTLE
will dress to impress after being invited by Lord Spout of Glenkettle to help rescue his run down castle.
Artie has appointed himself as the local Laird and Cilla the Lady of the Manor, while Kevin is the Gamekeeper and Gary is a Scatty Scottish Entertainer - bagpipes and all.
The Singing Kettle wonder how difficult can it be to hang a portrait, display a suit of armour or place a stag’s head on the wall – but nothing’s easy at Calamity Castle! Especially when our four tartan heroes are distracted by ancient Singing Kettles that they find everywhere - from the sky-high turrets to the secret cellars. Can they complete the task before Lord Spout’s return? Yes, but only with the assistance of young helpers in the audience who have a chance to join in with the action on stage!
Bonzo tries helping out as a game dog to round up the estate sheep with hilarious results and Jock and Jeremy the Singing Kettle’s own chefs attempt to cook up a dish for a banquet that ends in
slapstick chaos.
There’s lots of fantastic Scottish songs like “Tattie Soup”, “Herrin’s Heid” and “Shove Your Granny”, as well as brand new and all time favourite songs making for a superb singalong, action packed adventure ……. full of mishaps !
Remember to Dress up in Tartan for some crazy Highland Fun and Games at Calamity Castle. For girls and boys of all ages.
